We pride ourselves in using only the finest materials and workmanship possible to bring to you top notch after market parts without and hidden costs associated with making our parts functional. The Regal Ram Air Hood is built using the finest fiberglass resins to ensure excellent fit and finish.  Each hood is built using a jig made from the factory hood so that it fits like a factory hood!  The edges where the fiberglass top and underside bottom meet are seamless.  There is no rough edge.  There are steel inner supports allowing for strength and durability as well as also allowing use of the factory struts and hinges making the hood a snap to install.  As always MPD parts come with a one year warranty.  We stand behind our products because we can!  Your body man will love working with this piece.  We pride ourselves on making parts that fit like OE parts.  

 With our Ram Air hoods you will get seamless edges, steel inner frame work for strength and safety, utilization of factory struts and hinges, real heat extractors and full air flow into the engine compartment without having to purchase any other parts.

Our Ram air hood is functional with/ or with out a stock air box.  You have the option to run your factory airbox, thrasher, MPD aluminum air box or a straight K&N filter system.     We know that individuality is important as well as quality!    There is lots of open air flow going into the engine compartment.  Your engine compartment will stay cooler and hot air will escape through the heat extractors in the back of the hood.  

      We cut absolutely no corners when it comes to expense or time in building our products!  Because we use factory parts to create our jigs we saves your bodyman time in fitting which saves you big money!  We build the best products because we take pride in what we do and we want your car to look and perform its best!  The president himself inspects and finishes each piece before it is wrapped and shipped from our facility so that we know each piece that leaves here is one that we would be proud to put on our own vehicles!! 

Important information about installing your hood:
     The Ram air hood comes unpainted, ready to prep and paint.  If you do not already have a shop in mind to do the finishing touches, look for one that has experience with fiberglass and has worked with aftermarket hoods.  Your local performance shop may also have recommendations.
     Your body shop will want to test fit the hood immediately upon receiving it.     The body shop will need to block sand and prime it prior to painting.  This is where a good body shop is important.  Typical labor time to prefit, prep, and paint is usually about 6 hours.  Average costs are about $450-500.  Metallic colors might be slightly more.  Shop rate also depends on your area.
